SmartCity Malta SCM01 Final Roof Slab Complete

SmartCity Malta has marked the achievement of another major milestone with the completion of the final roof slab of SCM01.

SCM01′s official launch will be on 10/10/2010 to coincide with TECOM’s Dubai Internet City’s 10th anniversary. The first SmartCity Malta building is made up of 12,000 square meters of intelligent office space and will be home to international, regional and local ICT and media companies.

In parallel with the completion of the above ground construction works, the external envelope cladding of SCM01 is also ongoing. The exterior of the building consists of aluminium framing, glass and stone cladding, making SCM01 an avant-garde and prominent architectural piece.

Works to assure the comfort and well-being of business partners are also ongoing. This includes the nearing completion of the site wide grading works for Phase One A and infrastructure works for the entrance boulevard and roads leading to SCM01 which will be completed ahead of SCM01′s public opening.
